I found nothing attractive in Catherine’s character
Well, the plot is not new, but still quite watchable. I didn’t feel the chemistry (from Laura Dern) that made the story believable.
Catherine’s character was not that to me, the pale, snotty, superficial author
Let’s face it: If a young, hot guy likes someone so mature, you’d expect this older guy to be wiser, attractive, interesting, etc. I wonder what is there to ignite the spark for Owen, maybe his weakness at that point.
Catherine’s anger is hard to see
I’d also like to see more depth in Owen’s previous relationships. Now I feel sorry for him on both counts.
