He’s smart
He’s lovable. He’s Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer, who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During season 8, Angel Batista was not always played by David Zayas. His for David Zayas Jr.
Dexter Morgan: Lived in the darkness for a long time
fills in for his father in a few scenes, as the two look remarkably alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in season 2, the scar moved to his right side, leaving his left side unmarked. Over the years, my eyes adjusted, until the darkness became my world and I could see.

Main Theme Written by Rolfe Kent Acted by Rolfe Kent. In the realm of cinematography and screenwriting, it is advisable to limit character narration, allowing actions, conversations, and scenes to speak for themselves. However, if there is one exception, and it goes by the name, it’s Dexter! From the very beginning, I found myself captivated by the character of Dexter – a dark and introverted individual.
Seasons 1 and 2 were exceptional standouts, earning a commendable 9/10 rating
The strength of the character development was evident, reinforced by an impeccable cast and an engaging, crime-filled storyline. However, the quality of the show began to decline afterward. The introduction of new characters and excessive drama weighed down what was once a classic series. Despite my love for the character, I felt a gradual decline in his charm, including that of Debra.
However, I must emphasize that the first two seasons are unmissable and should not be missed
The writing and direction were solid, but Dexter himself remained the towering centerpiece, as his portrayal of dark humor remained a standout aspect. His narration throughout the episodes was a unique perspective, where we learned how he perceived things, people, and crime; it was utterly captivating. I highly recommend this series, but I urge viewers to approach it at their own pace and choose how many seasons to watch.
