In essence, they manage the land and receive a lease to be able to drill for oil and gas. Like foremen on a construction site, they build roads, settlements, assemble earthmoving machines and drill wells themselves, especially in remote areas. They are also detail adjusters, problem solvers, and leaders.
Similarly, the roles of his wife and daughter seem out of place
For someone so focused on their goals, including an emotionally unstable one-woman circus, completely defeats the purpose of the show. Her character seems to disrupt the central narrative, adding unnecessary chaos rather than supporting it. The portrait does not enhance the story, but rather hinders taking his determination and concentration seriously.
Instead of improving the plot or character dynamics, this approach feels like a shallow attention-grabbing tactic
The wife seems emotionally unpredictable, and the daughter lacks intellectual depth, which makes her contribution to the plot insignificant. The image of the daughter seems particularly superficial, her character offers only a superficial involvement that does not add any value to the story. Moreover, these characters are constantly jumping around in provocative clothes, apparently just to attract attention, which does not seem to match the tone of the series.
